Seton Hill softball makes winner’s bracket final at NCAA regional

Morgan Ryan threw five scoreless innings and catcher MacKenzie Zang drove in two runs to lead Seton Hill to a 3-0 victory over Clafin, S.C. on Thursday in the 2022 NCAA Atlantic Regional at Shippensburg.

The Griffins also got a key RBI hit from Brooklyn Fukushima.

Seton Hill is now 37-10 on the season while Claflin falls to 21-14.

Ryan and Lauren Dellett combined on a three-hit shutout. Ryan improved to 16-2 on the season. She gave up two hits in five innings while striking out seven.

Fukushima led the Griffins with two hits.

Seton Hill moves on to the winners bracket final where it will meet host Shippensburg at noon on Friday.
