Sidney Crosby's jersey top seller on NHL's store in 2020
Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby had the top-selling jersey on the NHL’s online store for 2020.
Sales of Crosby jerseys topped those of Edmonton’s Connor McDavid, Washington’s Alex Ovechkin and Toronto’s Auston Matthews for 2020, according to the NHL.
Former Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, now with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, was fifth.
Rounding out the top 10:
• Colorado’s Nathan McKinnon
• Chicago’s Patrick Kane
• Boston’s David Pastrnak
• New York Rangers’ Artemi Panarin
• Vancouver’s Elias Pettersson
Crosby also topped jersey sales for the 2019-20 and 2018-19 seasons after falling to second in the 2017-18 season behind Matthews. Crosby also had top sales in 2016-17 after finishing eighth in 2015-16.
Penguins teammate Evgeni Malkin doesn’t appear in the top 10, but he was 15th in the 2017-18 and 2016-17 seasons.
