Pitt’s men’s basketball game scheduled for Boston College’s Silvio O. Conte Forum on Saturday has been postponed due to the snowstorm expected to hit the New England area this weekend. The game will tentatively be played at 4 p.m. Sunday at the same venue.

This is the second time this month a Pitt game was postponed. The scheduled game at Virginia Tech on Jan. 1 was postponed by covid issues in the Virginia Tech program. That game will be played Feb. 7, two days after the Hokies visit Petersen Events Center for their regularly scheduled game against the Panthers.

Pitt (8-12, 3-6 ACC) is coming off a 64-53 victory against Syracuse on Tuesday. Boston College (8-11, 3-6) is 0-2 this week after losing at Wake Forest 87-57 and North Carolina 58-47.

With the rescheduled games, Pitt now will play five games in 11 days through Feb. 9.
