Lexi Klatt is on the move.

The former Southmoreland softball standout is leaving Alderson Broaddus after less than half a season to play closer to home in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Klatt, a catcher and outfielder, announced she is transferring to Edinboro.

“I was just unhappy there,” the rising sophomore said of Alderson Broaddus. “It wasn’t the right school for me like I thought it was going to be. I’m hoping Edinboro will be the right fit.”

She hit .091 with a double and four runs scored in eight games this season for Alderson Broaddus, another Division II school located in Philippi, W.Va.

The NCAA season was cut short because of the coronavirus.
