Special teams standout Ben Skowronek will represent the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Pro Bowl Games on Tuesday night.
A fifth-year pro, Skowronek was the AFC’s top vote-getter among special teams players, earning his first Pro Bowl nod. Steelers teammates Jalen Ramsey and T.J. Watt also were selected but won’t take part in the all-star events.
Skowronek made 21 tackles this season and recovered a fumble. He also had four catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.

How to watch
The Pro Bowl’s main attraction is a 7-on-7 flag football game featuring all-stars from the AFC and NFC.
The game is televised at 8 p.m. by ESPN and available on Disney XD, ESPN Deportes, the ESPN App and on mobile with NFL+. This year’s event was scheduled during Super Bowl week for the first time rather than on the previous Sunday. The Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco is the host site for the Pro Bowl.
Former 49ers stars Jerry Rice (NFC) and Steve Young (AFC) will coach the teams. In the broadcast booth are ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt, Jason Kelce and Dan Orlovsky.
The NFC won 76-63 in Orlando last year for its third straight victory over the AFC.
Girls flag football
Preceding the Pro Bowl for the second year is the NFL Flag High School Girls Showcase featuring 32 players from around the country.
The game is televised by ESPN during its “Postseason NFL Countdown” pregame show starting at 6:30 p.m. The lone Pennsylvania player selected was Keira Quinn of Lansdale.
