Pirates center fielder Starling Marte robs the Nationals’ Anthony Rendon with a sliding catch during the eighth inning Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at PNC Park.

CINCINNATI — More bad health-related news arrived in the clubhouse of the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday when center fielder Starling Marte was removed from the starting lineup with a migraine headache, the team announced on its Twitter account.

Marte was replaced in the outfield by J.B. Shuck while Melky Cabrera will bat second. Cabrera was originally scheduled to bat seventh while he replaced Lonnie Chisenhall, who is on the 10-day injured list with a fractured index finger.

Chisenhall was acquired in the off-season to replace Gregory Polanco, who also is out after shoulder surgery.
