Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Robert Spillane, center, celebrates with teammates after returning an interception on a pass from Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, not visible for a touchdown during the first half of an NFL football game, Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, in Baltimore.

The Steelers activated two players from injured reserve, as expected, and elevated tight end Kevin Rader from the practice squad a day ahead of their AFC wild-card game against the Cleveland Browns.

Guard Matt Feiler and inside linebacker Robert Spillane were activated to the 53-man roster Saturday. They returned to practice Wednesday and were expected to be available for the playoff game if they didn’t have any setbacks during the week. Feiler was out with a pectoral injury, and Spillane had a knee injury.

Feiler started the first 13 games at left guard before being injured against Buffalo. Spillane was hurt a week earlier against Washington.

Rader, a Pine-Richland native, made his NFL debut last Sunday and had three tackles on special teams in the Steelers’ 24-22 loss at the Browns.

To make room on the 53-man roster, the Steelers waived linebacker Tegray Scales, who served as a backup while Spillane was injured.
