Steelers add 10 undrafted free agents, 7 on defense

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed 10 rookie free agents in the hours after the draft ended Saturday evening.

Only two of the 10 were offensive players: Auburn fullback Spencer Nigh and Tulane center Christian Montano.

Defensive players signed were inside linebackers Leo Lewis of Mississippi State and John Houston of USC, Baylor outside linebacker James Lockhart, cornerbacks James Pierre of Florida Atlantic and Trajan Bandy of Miami and defensive ends Josiah Coatney of Ole Miss and Calvin Taylor of Kentucky.

Also signed was Mississippi State punter Corliss Waitman.
