Steelers add 3 more players from Alliance of American Football

The Steelers signed former San Diego Fleet defensive back Kameron Kelly on Monday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to load up on players from the defunct Alliance of American Football, signing three defensive players to one-year contracts Monday.

Signing were defensive tackle Winston Craig, linebacker JT Jones and cornerback Kameron Kelly.

That makes five former AAF players who have been scooped up by the Steelers since the upstart league disbanded last week. They signed center J.C. Hassenauer and defensive back Jack Tocho on Friday.

Craig (6-foot-4, 291 pounds) played for the San Antonio Commanders after spending two training camps with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Eagles in 2017 after he played at Richmond.

Jones (6-2, 247) played for the Atlanta Legends. He spent the 2017 season on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad and was released by the team in the 2018 training camp. He played at Miami (Ohio).

Kelly (6-2, 205) spent his time in the AAF with the San Diego Fleet. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 draft. He played at San Diego State.
