Steelers add Kansas City practice squad DT Brodric Martin-Rhodes to 53-man roster
To fortify the depth on the defensive line, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed defensive tackle Brodric Martin-Rhodes off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad Thursday.
The 6-foot-5, 330-pound Martin-Rhodes will be part of the Steelers’ 53-man roster.
The Steelers sought a depth piece after Daniel Ekuale was lost to a season-ending MCL tear. Ekuale was placed on injured reserve Oct. 31.
A third-round draft pick of the Detroit Lions in 2023, Martin-Rhodes joined the Chiefs practice squad this season. In his NFL career, he has played in five games with one start.
Martin-Rhodes attended North Alabama from 2018-21 and then spent two seasons at Western Kentucky.
