The Pittsburgh Steelers have subbed one offensive tackle for another, signing former Oklahoma offensive lineman Adrian Ealy on Monday and waiving Jordan Tucker.

Ealy became a free agent when he was released by the Los Angeles Rams last week. An undrafted free agent who began his career with Baltimore in 2021, Ealy spent time on the Ravens, Rams, Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers practice squads last year.

In four years at Oklahoma, Ealy played for three teams that competed in the College Football Playoffs. He started 23 games over the 2019-20 seasons and was a two-time, second-team All-Big 12 selection.

Tucker was an undrafted free agent who spent the entire training camp with the Steelers. He did not play on offense in either of the Steelers’ first two preseason games, but he got five snaps on special teams.

The Steelers’ preseason roster remains at 85 players. The team has until 4 p.m. Tuesday to cut it to 80.
