The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their first player signings from outside the organization Thursday when quarterback Brogan Roback and wide receiver Ka’Raun White were signed to futures contracts.

Roback, 24, spent last summer with the Cleveland Browns and was one of the players featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” He is no stranger to the Steelers, who hosted Roback on a pre-draft visit on April 3.

Roback signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent and was cut before the start of the season. He gives the Steelers another arm in camp behind starter Ben Roethlisberger and backups Joshua Dobbs and Mason Rudolph.

White, 21, played at West Virginia and was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He was released and claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals, who cut him on Sept. 1.
