The Pittsburgh Steelers are adding some more size to their defensive front by signing free agent Sebastian Joseph-Day.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound defensive lineman agreed to a two-year, $11 million contract, according to ESPN.

Joseph-Day, who turns 31 next week, played 17 games with 10 starts last season, his second with the Tennessee Titans. He had 41 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery.

A seven-year veteran, Joseph-Day previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. He won a Super Bowl in 2022 with the Rams and was a runner-up with the 49ers in 2024. He became the second Super Bowl winner added by the Steelers, joining cornerback Jamel Dean, who won a title with Tampa Bay.

Joseph-Day adds depth to a Steelers defensive line that brings back Cameron Heyward, Derrick Harmon and Keeanu Benton as starters from last season. Yahya Black also returns, along with Esezi Otomewo, whom the Steelers re-signed this week.

Joseph-Day has started 90 of 105 career games. He has 15 1/2 career sacks.

A Pennsylvania native, Joseph-Day graduated from Stroudsburg High School. The Rams drafted him in 2018 as a sixth-round pick from Rutgers.
