Steelers at Jets: Get ready for the season opener
Are you ready for some football?
For the first time in nine months, the Pittsburgh Steelers will play meaningful football Sunday afternoon.
They will open the 2025 season against the New York Jets at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.
The game will be broadcast on CBS, with Ian Eagle on play-by-play along side analyst J.J. Watt and sideline reporter Evan Washburn. The game can also be streamed on Paramount+.
The Steelers Audio Network also will broadcast the game on 102.5-FM and 970-AM.
The Steelers are favored by three points with an over/under of 37½.

Remember when?
The Steelers lead the all-time series against the Jets, 21-7.
The Jets won the last meeting 16-10 in New York on Dec. 22, 2019. Sam Ficken booted three field goals, and Robbie Chosen caught a 23-yard TD pass from Sam Darnold for the Jets.
Diontae Johnson caught a 29-yard TD pass from Mason Rudolph, and Chris Boswell booted a 49-yard field goal for the Steelers.
