The Pittsburgh Steelers made a pair of roster moves at training camp on Wednesday, claiming free-agent wide receiver Brandon Reilly off waivers and waiving cornerback Alexander Myres.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Reilly was released by the Detroit Lions, where he had two stints. He also spent time with the Buffalo Bills in 2017 and on the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad. An undrafted free agent from Nebraska, he caught the winning touchdown pass in an upset victory over previously undefeated Michigan State in 2015.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was asked after practice what he knew about Reilly.

“Not a lot,” Tomlin said. “I hear that he’s able and ready, and those two things are what we need right now.”

Myres, an undrafted free agent from Houston, was waived with a non-football-illness designation.
