The Pittsburgh Steelers did not have a representative scout free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s workout Saturday in Atlanta.
Eight teams attended the official workout that was switched to a high school facility an hour away.
Kaepernick changed locations after his representatives and the NFL disagreed about some conditions regarding the scheduled workout.
Oddsmakers recently gave the Steelers favorable 4-1 odds to sign Kaepernick, 32, who has not played since the 2016 season.
The Steelers are starting second-year quarterback Mason Rudolph in the wake of Ben Roethlisberger’a season-ending elbow injury. Undrafted free agent Devlin Hodges is the backup, and he started for an injured Rudolph against the Los Angeles Chargers. Former first-round pick Paxton Lynch is the third quarterback on the 53-man roster.
