With the Cincinnati Bengals representing the AFC in the Super Bowl and their players no longer eligible for the Pro Bowl, the NFL found replacements in a pair of Pittsburgh Steelers players.
Running back Najee Harris and wide receiver Diontae Johnson were named as replacements Sunday night. They will take the roster spots of Bengals running back Joe Mixon and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
The Steelers duo will join defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who were voted into the Pro Bowl in December.
The game will be played Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Harris set a franchise rookie-rushing record when he ran for 1,200 yards. He also caught 74 passes for 467 yards and scored a combined 10 touchdowns. Johnson led the Steelers with 107 catches for 1,161 receiving yards in his third season. He also had eight receiving touchdowns.
