Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier pulls to block during a training-camp practice in July at Saint Vincent College. Frazier has a calf injury that limited him in practice this week.

A week ago Thursday, Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier played through a calf injury suffered during the first quarter of a game at the Cincinnati Bengals.

He pledges to do the same for the Steelers’ next game Sunday.

Frazier sat out Thursday’s practice a day after being limited during a session, putting into some question his status for Sunday night’s home meeting against the Green Bay Packers.

“I think I’ll be good. I’m just kind of resting it a little,” Frazier said after the practice at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

“It’s sore, but I think I’ll be fine.”

Frazier was the only player on the active roster who did not partake in practice Thursday because of injury. Veterans DK Metcalf and Cameron Heyward sat out because coach Mike Tomlin gave them the day off.

Depth receiver Scotty Miller was added to the injury report because of a finger injury. He was regarded as a limited participant Thursday.

Three players who have missed game time practiced fully: receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder), inside linebacker Malik Harrison (knee) and No. 3 quarterback Will Howard (finger). Harrison and Howard remain on the injured reserve list, though one or both could be activated by Sunday.

Austin is on track to return from a two-game absence.
