Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster runs a pass route as New England Patriots defensive back J.C. Jackson, left, gives chase in the second half of Sunday’s game. Smith-Schuster suffered a toe injury late in the game but it is not expected to be serious.

Of the four former Pro Bowl Pittsburgh Steelers who were injured during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s season-opening loss, three were in the locker room at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Monday afternoon.

Cornerback Joe Haden (shoulder), linebacker T.J. Watt (hip) and receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (toe) were spotted — seemingly in good spirits and without any noticeable indication of serious injury. None spoke with media.

Center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) was not in the locker room during a 45-minute media availability Monday, the day after a 33-3 loss at the New England Patriots.

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport provided reports on Haden and Smith-Schuster via his verified Twitter account. Haden reportedly has a sprained AC joint. X-rays on Smith-Schuster’s toes reportedly were negative, and the Steelers’ No. 1 receiver “is going to be fine.”

Of the four who left Sunday’s game because of injury, Haden returned before it ended.

The Steelers have not provided updates on any of their injured players. Coach Mike Tomlin will brief the media on injuries during his weekly news conference Tuesday.
