Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi and cornerback Levi Wallace will not play, but cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon will return to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ lineup for Sunday’s game at the Philadelphia Eagles.

Neither Ogunjobi nor Wallace practiced all week because of knee and shoulder injuries, respectively.

Wallace’s absence means the Steelers will be without their full complement of starting defensive backs for the fifth consecutive game. Witherspoon had missed the prior four because of a hamstring injury. Safeties Terrell Edmunds and Minkah Fitzpatrick missed a game each because of injury over that span, and Wallace and cornerback Cameron Sutton also each missed a game because of injury.

Wallace sat out the Oct. 16 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of a concussion, but he returned to play all but one of the Steelers’ defensive snaps in this past Sunday’s loss at the Miami Dolphins.

Punt and kick returner Steven Sims missed that game because of a hamstring injury but returned to full practice Thursday and Friday this week and will play against Philadelphia.

Also cleared Friday after missing practice time this week were tight end Pat Freiermuth (ankle) and defensive tackle Montravius Adams (hamstring).

Reserve defensive back Josh Jackson is listed as questionable because of a groin injury.
