Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt added to Pro Bowl roster
Add outside linebacker T.J. Watt to the list of Pittsburgh Steelers players selected to participate in the Pro Bowl.
Watt was added as an injury replacement Thursday. He will take the spot of Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, who withdrew from the game because of injury.
In his second NFL season, Watt led the Steelers with 13 sacks. He was the only NFL defender to accrue at least 65 total tackles (68), 10 sacks (13), and five forced fumbles (6). Watt has registered 20 career sacks, the most by a Steelers player in his first two seasons.
Watt will be joined at the all-star event by Steelers defensive lineman Cameron Heyward, running back James Conner, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and offensive linemen Maurkice Pouncey and David DeCastro.
