Steelers live: Mike Tomlin previews Week 2 matchup with Seahawks
What will Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense do for an encore?
That’s the question fans of the home team will be waiting to have answered Sunday when the Steelers host Seattle in the home opener at 1 p.m. at Acrisure Stadium.
Rodgers threw for 244 yards and four touchdowns in his Steelers debut — a 34-32 victory over the New York Jets last Sunday. Seven players caught passes for the Steelers (1-0), led by wide receiver DK Metcalf with four catches for 83 yards.
The Seahawks (0-1) opened the season with a 17-13 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. Quarterback Sam Darnold, who led the Vikings to a 14-3 record in 2024 before being acquired by Seattle, was limited to 150 passing yards, though Jaxson Smith-Njigba caught nine passes for 124 yards. RB Zach Charbonnet had 12 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is previewing the matchup and providing an injury report.
