Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, left, talks with Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Mark Barron (26) and linebacker Devin Bush, right, during a game against the Seattle Seahawks last month in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Mark Barron will not play in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Barron did not practice all week after suffering a hamstring injury during last week’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Steelers have three players they consider starters for two positions at inside linebacker in Barron, Vince Williams and rookie Devin Bush. They have had all three available for only one full game so far this season – Williams left a Week 2 loss to Seattle because of a hamstring injury and missed the subsequent two games.

Cornerback Mike Hilton returned to practice Friday and endured a full workout a day after he left a session because of a foot injury. He will play Sunday, as will tight end Vance McDonald (shoulder) and linebacker Anthony Chickillo (foot).

As had been reported earlier in the week, receiver James Washington (shoulder) and running back Jaylen Samuels (knee) are out for multiple games after suffering injuries in the game against the Ravens.

Fullback Roosevelt Nix did not practice all week and will miss his fifth consecutive game because of a knee injury.
