Steelers' Najee Harris picks up 4th 'Angry Run' scepter against Falcons
If you were following Twitter during Sunday’s Steelers-Falcons game, you saw the posts about how fans thought Najee Harris seemed to be running “angry.”
That assessment held up Tuesday as NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” presented the second-year running back with his fourth “Angry Run” scepter.
Kyle Brandt and the morning crew send out a scepter each week to whoever “has the angriest, most physically destructive run in the National Football League.”
Brant, in his just-ran-a-marathon, out-of-breath style, called Harris’ thrown-down on Falcons strong safety Richie Grant “a brutal, brutal play.”

“You know how people spike the ball? Like Gronk-spike?” Brant asked. “(Harris) Gronk-spiked a dude. … This looks like slam ball.”
It’s the second time this season that Harris has earned the award — having snagged it in Week 2 for his slam on New England Patriots linebacker Mack Wilson.
With the latest honor, Harris matched his scepter total from last season, when he earned the title in Weeks 2 and 17. He’s now snagged four scepters in 29 games. The all-time record holder is Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, with six scepters in 98 games. And just like defensive “dudes,” it looks like Harris is well on his way to crushing it.
