The Steelers took Oklahoma defensive back Tre Norwood in the seventh round Saturday.

CB/S, Oklahoma

6-foot, 192 pounds

Stats: Had five of his six career interceptions as redshirt junior in 2020.

Hometown: Fort Smith, Ark.

Tidbits: Norwood missed the 2019 season because of a knee injury suffered in fall camp. … He was slow to return to the lineup but started five of the final six games in 2020. His five interceptions in 2020 tied for third-most in FBS, and he returned one for a touchdown in the Cotton Bowl. … Norwood played in 14 games as a freshman, starting five, and he had 14 starts as a sophomore. … Coming out of high school, he picked Oklahoma over Notre Dame, Tennessee and Louisville.
