Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins (3) stretches during the team’s NFL mini-camp football practice in Pittsburgh.

Dwayne Haskins is disputing the report that he is missing part of a tooth following a July 3 altercation in Las Vegas that resulted in domestic battery charges being filed against his wife.

Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins faces an Aug. 3 hearing as a result of a disagreement that resulted in facial injuries to the 24-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.

According to a police report, she is accused of punching Haskins in the mouth, which resulted in a split upper lip and partial missing tooth. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Haskins, though, wrote on his verified Instagram account Thursday that no teeth are missing

“I appreciate the concern,” he wrote. “However I have all of my teeth. Don’t believe everything you read. Peace.”

Dwayne Haskins posted this to his Instagram stories on Thursday.

Haskins and his wife were in Las Vegas over the July 4 weekend reportedly to attend a wedding and then renew their vows. Gondrezick-Haskins told police the couple was married in March. Haskins posted an earlier photo to his Instagram account showing off an engagement ring that he bought for Gondrezick-Haskins.

The Steelers signed Haskins to a futures contract in January, shortly after he was released by Washington. Haskins was cut free by Washington despite being a first-round pick and No. 15 player taken over in the 2019 NFL Draft.

“We are aware of the situation and are not going to comment further,” Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten said Thursday.
