We take a quick tour around the Steelers locker room before they leave for San Francisco.

Hear from Mason Rudolph as he gets ready to make his first start in place of Ben Roethlisberger Sunday afternoon. Some of his comments are interesting, particularly when I asked him about changing plays at the line of scrimmage.

He candidly talks about how he isn’t planning on running the show on his own as often as Roethlisberger did.

That’s probably smart for a young quarterback. And it may force the Steelers to be more balanced. Now it’s up to Randy Fichtner to call a good game.

Defensive coordinator Keith Butler also gives some thoughts on the acquisition of Minkah Fitzpatrick. It could be a huge help for his defense.

It better be. That unit needs a shot in the arm in some way.

And, lastly, I interview starting right tackle Matt Feiler about the obstacles the offensive line faces as it goes out west to play the 49ers. Also, he gets into some of the challenges they’ll face playing in front of a new quarterback.
