Steelers' season finale against Bengals scheduled for prime-time Saturday kickoff
The final game of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ regular season will be held in prime time.
The Steelers, who have a 10-6 record on the heels of a three-game losing streak, will face the 8-8 Cincinnati Bengals at 8 p.m. Saturday at Acrisure Stadium. The game will be televised by ABC/ESPN.
By the time the game is kicked off, the Steelers will know whether they have a chance of winning the AFC North title. They are a game behind the Baltimore Ravens (11-5), who will play the Cleveland Browns (3-13) in the 4:30 p.m. window Saturday.
If the Ravens defeat the Browns, they will win the division championship and the Steelers will finish second in the AFC North. If the Ravens lose, the Steelers can clinch the division, No. 3 seed and a home playoff game if they defeat the Bengals. The Steelers will be the No. 5 or No. 6 seed if they do not win the AFC North.
The Bengals have won four in a row since losing to the Steelers, 44-38, in Week 13. Cincinnati can make the playoffs with a win against the Steelers and losses by the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins, who each play Sunday
The Steelers-Bengals matchup marks the third consecutive game the Steelers will not play on a traditional Sunday. The faced the Ravens on Dec. 21, then played the Kansas City Chiefs four days later on Christmas.
