Steelers sign 2 more draft picks; 3 remain unsigned
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced they signed two more draft picks Tuesday in offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr. and linebacker Buddy Johnson. They were teammates at Texas A&M.
The Steelers selected Moore Jr. (6-6, 311) in the fourth round (128th overall). He started 37 games at Texas A&M, including 10 last fall when he was named to the All-SEC second team.
Johnson (6-1, 229) also was picked in the fourth round (140th overall). He was a 2020 Butkus Award semifinalist after leading Texas A&M in tackles (86), tackles for loss (8.5) and forced fumbles (2). He also had four sacks.
The Steelers have now signed six of their nine draft picks after coming to terms with defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk, outside linebacker Quincy Roche, defensive back Tre Norwood and punter Pressley Harvin III on Saturday.
The remaining unsigned draft picks are first-round running back Najee Harris of Alabama, second-round tight end Pat Freiermuth of Penn State and third-round center Kendrick Green of Illinois.
