The honors are piling up for T.J. Watt.

The Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Thursday was named AFC defensive player of the month. In four November games, Watt had 6½ sacks, 16 tackles (11 solo), nine quarterback hits and forced two fumbles.

Watt has a streak of at least a half-sack in the past nine games. The third-year pro has 12½ sacks for the season with four games to play, putting him within striking distance of James Harrison’s team record of 16.

Watt leads the AFC in sacks and is fourth in the NFL. He has four forced fumbles over his past six games and 11 over his past 24 games dating to last season.
