It’s time to get the black and gold out again.

The first Pittsburgh Steelers training camp public practice is a week away. That means the players — and fans — will once again descend on Saint Vincent College in Unity to check out an early look at the team or get an autograph.

Players must report by 4 p.m. Thursday.

The first of 15 practices open to the public starts at 2:55 p.m. July 26. The annual evening practice — known as ‘Friday Night Lights’ — at Latrobe Memorial Stadium will begin at 7 p.m. Aug. 2. Steelers Fest outside of the stadium starts at noon with autograph signings, vendors, activities, music and food.

Visiting camp for the first time? Here’s a primer on what to do:

The team will practice on Chuck Noll Field at Saint Vincent starting at 2:55 pm. on:

• July 26, 27, 28, 29 and 31.

• Aug. 1, 3, 6, 7, 11, 12, 14 and 15.

The team’s first appearance of the year at Heinz Field will be for a 6:30 p.m. practice on Aug. 4.
