Packers quarterback Jordan Love throws as he is being hit by the Steelers’ Patrick Queen in the third quarter Sunday at Acrisure Stadium.

Jordan Love is the star of the show in Green Bay after his Packers rallied for a second-half victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press Gazette called the performance the “best game of (Love’s) young career” in his write-up of the game.

“Love reminded everyone why the Green Bay Packers were ready to trade their future Hall of Fame quarterback three seasons ago,” Wood wrote.

At one point, Love completed 20 straight receptions.

The 26-year-old defeated his former teammate Aaron Rodgers in spectacular fashion, finishing 29-of-37 passing for a career-high 360 yards.

Many, including Pack-A-Day podcast co-host Eli Berkovits, proclaimed a post-game embrace between Love and Rodgers a “passing of the torch.”

The efforts of tight end Tucker Kraft didn’t go unnoticed either.

Storming into the endzone for for two touchdowns, Kraft mouthed “I do this,” to the camera.

The 24-year-old South Dakota native’s seven receptions yielded him a total of 143 yards.

Justis Mosqueda, editor at Packers pundit Acme Packing Company, said Kraft’s performance had “won” him Sunday’s National Tight End Day.

“Reset the tight end market for him. Do whatever you need to for him to be a Packer for life. Kraft will be eligible for an extension for the first time in his NFL career, starting with the 2026 new league year. Get it done, Brian Gutekunst and Russ Ball,” Mosqueda wrote.

Rodgers, who needed a win over his former team to complete a victory circuit of the NFL, will have to settle for wins over just 31 franchises.

No stranger to cheese-heads, 41-year-old Rodgers said in a post-game press conference he was forced to call for snaps using a silent count because of noise from visiting Packers fans.

“Packer fans travel really well. It’s the first time in a while I’ve used a silent count in a home game,” Rodgers said. “That’s a credit to those Packer fans.”

That proved to be a point of pride for Green Bay fans online. @PackersRealm proclaimed Green Bay the center of the football universe on X.

“No better fanbase on planet earth. Packer fans are one of one,” the account wrote.

The Packers’ 35-25 victory leaves the team 5-1-1. Though the Steelers fell to 4-3, the Black and Gold maintain the only winning record in the AFC North.

Pittsburgh will face the 7-1 Indianapolis Colts at home next Sunday.
