For the past 20 seasons, Pittsburgh Steelers fans who can’t be in front of a TV on gameday have known where to turn to hear the games.

The Steelers and iHeartMedia will keep that familiarity going through the 2023 season after reaching an extension of their broadcast agreement.

“We are thrilled to continue to bring millions of sports fans throughout Pittsburgh Steelers broadcasts and programming for years to come,” said Tim McAleer, market president of iHeartMedia Pittsburgh.

The new agreement means play-by-play of the games will continue to be heard on 102.5 FM and 970 AM, with additional promotional support from six iHeart Media stations in Pittsburgh.

The partnership also includes Steelers Nation Radio (SNR), broadcasting 24 hours of Steelers programming on WDVE 102.5 HD-2, iHeartRadio, Steelers.com and the Steelers Official Mobile App.

The broadcast agreement includes the debut of several Steelers programs, including the “The Point After,” a weekly wrap-up program featuring the Steelers radio broadcast team, plus “The Steelers Preview Show” on Thursday nights. Both programs will be simulcast on 102.5 FM and SNR.
