T.J. Watt (left), Larry Ogunjobi (center) and Myles Jack converge on a tackle of Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor during the second half of Monday’s game in Indianapolis. The trio of Pittsburgh Steelers starters on defense joined three other Steelers players as being limited at Wednesday’s practice because of injury.

Defensive starters T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Larry Ogunjobi and Myles Jack were among six Pittsburgh Steelers players who were limited in participation at Wednesday’s practice because of injury.

Outside linebacker Watt and safety Fitzpatrick each was listed as having an injury to his ribs on the league-mandated injury report released after practice. Jack, an inside linebacker, has been nursing a knee ailment; Ogunjobi, a defensive lineman, has a toe injury.

Also limited Wednesday was inside linebacker Robert Spillane, for whom such status could qualify as an upgrade after he’d missed Monday’s game because of an oblique injury. Another player who missed that 24-17 win against the Indianapolis Colts because of an oblique injury, special-teamer/No. 5 wide receiver Miles Boykin, returned to practice in a full capacity.
