Thousands of teddy bears and stuffed animals are expected to hit the ice Saturday night at Giant Center.

The Hershey Bears are bringing back their annual teddy bear toss on Saturday for their game against the Hartford Wold Pack. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Fans are invited to bring teddy bears and stuffed animals to the game that they wish to donate to local charities. When the Bears score their first goal, the fans throw them all onto the ice to be collected and donated.

In 2019, the Bears set a world record, collecting 45,650 stuffed animals. The pandemic forced the Bears to hold a drive-thru teddy bear toss last year.

Limited tickets for Saturday’s game were still available as of Friday morning.
