Terrelle Pryor signs with Jacksonville Jaguars
Jeannette’s Terrelle Pryor will head to camp with another new team, his ninth in eight years in the NFL.
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed the veteran quarterback-turned-wide receiver to a one-year contract.
The 6-foot-4, 228-pound Pryor spent last season with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills during what has been an injury-plagued stretch of his career.
He pulled in 16 catches for 252 yards and two touchdowns last year, bringing his career stats to 115 receptions for 1,563 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Pryor should provide a bigger target for new quarterback Nick Foles, whose receiving corps includes Chris Conley, Marqise Lee, Dede Westbrook, DJ Chark and Keelan Cole.
Pryor will be reunited with Jaguars offensive coordinator John DeFilippo. He was Cleveland’s offensive coordinator in 2015; Pryor played two seasons (2015-16) for the Browns. They also worked together in Oakland (2012-13), where Pryor was a quarterback and DeFilippo was his position coach.
Pryor’s high-water mark came in 2016, when the former Ohio State standout caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and five scores for the Browns.
Pryor will wear No. 10 for the Jaguars.

Pryor had an NFL-record 93-yard touchdown run against the Steelers when he played quarterback for the Oakland Raiders in 2013.
First play of the game, and all @TerrellePryor did was take off for the longest QB run ever.
