Brewers pitcher Quinn Priester delivers during the fourth inning against the Pirates on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at PNC Park.

Here’s a look at next week’s Pittsburgh Pirates schedule:

at Brewers

7:40 p.m. Monday (SN PIT)

7:40 p.m. Tuesday (SN PIT)

2:10 p.m. Wednesday (SN PIT)

• The NL Central-leading Brewers had won 10 of their past 11 games entering their series with the Mets. They are 4-3 against the Pirates this season. Outfielder Christian Yelich leads the team in home runs (21) and RBIs (74) in his 13th season. Former Pirates pitcher Quinn Priester has been a surprise success story, going 11-2 with a 3.15 ERA and 93 strikeouts since being acquired via trade from the Red Sox in April.

at Cubs

2:20 p.m. Friday (SN PIT)

2:20 p.m. Saturday (SN PIT)

2:20 p.m. Sunday (SN PIT)

• The Pirates have won just two of seven games this season against the Cubs, who are second in the NL Central. Behind the bats of Pete Crow-Armstrong (27 HRs, 78 RBIs) and Seiya Suzuki (27 HRs, 84 RBIs), Chicago is fourth in the majors in home runs and third in slugging percentage (.439). The Cubs do face questions with the rotation, with Justin Steele, Shota Imanaga, Jameson Taillon and Mike Soroka — whom the Cubs acquired at the trade deadline — on the injured list.
