Pittsburgh Steelers teammates James Conner and Chase Claypool celebrate with JuJu Smith-Schuster after Smith-Schuster’s go-ahead touchdown catch during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win against the Indianapolis Colts.

This was one TikTok dance everyone could get behind.

Despite his assertion earlier this week to the contrary, JuJu Smith-Schuster still danced on a logo Sunday. And like he had in recent weeks, Smith-Schuster posted a video of it to his verified TikTok account.

But unlike recent weeks, this video was shot after the game.

The dancing was on the Steelers logo.

Teammates joined him.

And it was in conjunction with a Steelers win.

With Smith-Schuster in the middle, about a dozen Steelers players filmed a 15-second celebratory video from their locker room not long after clinching the AFC North title with a 28-24 victory against the Indianapolis Colts at Heinz Field. Wearing their official division-champion shirts and with the “Steelers” written logo on the carpet they congregated on, the players joyfully threw their championship caps in the air to end the video.

It was a social-media post no Colts players or Steelers fans could take issue with, a contrast to recent weeks when Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals players made public note of their angst at pregame videoed dancing by Smith-Schuster from atop their team’s logos at midfield of their stadiums. The Steelers lost both of those games to extend their losing streak to three after beginning the season 11-0.

The brouhaha prompted Smith-Schuster to cite “the betterment of myself and my teammates” in saying he would “stop dancing on the logos.”

It being his team’s logo and it coming after a win made all the difference.

“It was a big game for him,” fellow Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson said. “Yeah, he’d been doing dancing or whatever he’d been doing, but he didn’t let that get in his way. He showed he can make plays whenever he wants to and did that and kept his head, and we just rallied around each other and made plays with him.”

Smith-Schuster had season highs in receiving yards (96) and catches (nine, tied) and a 25-yard touchdown catch that proved to provide the winning points when it gave the Steelers their first lead with 7 minutes, 38 seconds left.
