In this week’s “Madden Monday,” Mark Madden of 105.9 the X joins me to wrap up the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 18-6 preseason win over the Tennessee Titans.
Well, we try to wrap up what we could figure out, anyway. Boy, that camera angle was really bad. We dissect that topic first.
Then we get into the rising tide of the defense. If linebacker Bud Dupree and defensive end Stephon Tuitt play like THAT every week, look out.
The first-team offense took some time to get going. Wide receiver James Washington continues to shine in August, though. He is the Randy Moss of the preseason! And the receivers may be coming together as a unit.
Mark and I agree on one negative, however. Shouldn’t rookie linebacker Devin Bush be the starter in the base defense, too? We analyze why the coaches may be making a mistake in that regard.
Then we dive into the Andrew Luck issue. Not everyone is fawning over Luck and his decision to retire. And that’s OK. But don’t say so on Twitter. Because then you are a mean, unfeeling cuss. Just ask Troy Aikman.
Also, Antonio Brown has done it again. He has complained his way into more money. There should be a way to prevent that. Right?
Most importantly, Mark preaches about the virtues of White Claw.
