This week’s “Madden Monday” with Mark Madden features three big topics:
• The Penguins comeback win Sunday against the Boston Bruins
• The AFC and NFC championship games
• The Houston Astros cheating controversy
We start with the Penguins. How big of a deal is it that they got at least one win against the Bruins this regular season?
The top two centers really flashed. Mark and I talk about how excellent both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin were below the goal line and how that helped the team.
The crowd got on Matt Murray’s case after a bad start. The locker room didn’t like it and neither did Mark.
As for the Super Bowl matchup, I’m picking the Chiefs. Mark’s leaning toward San Francisco. Hear why we have split opinions there.
