It’s time for this week’s “Madden Monday” with Mark Madden of 105.9 the X.

And it’s ugly.

How could it be anything else after that disaster in New England?

The Steelers lost to the Patriots 33-3. The passing game was awful. The run game was non-existent. The play calling was atrocious.

On defense, they couldn’t cover. And when they did, they couldn’t tackle. And there was no pressure on Tom Brady at all.

Also, a bunch of important guys got banged up on top of everything else.

The Steelers were gutless, dumb, and unprepared.

Have we painted a fair enough picture? If not, watch this play.

There. I just saved you three hours watching on your DVR if you missed the game live. That pretty much summed it up.

Mark and I also talk about the Antonio Brown signing by the Patriots, the impressive showing by Baltimore, and Cleveland’s Week 1 train wreck.

And, if you want more, Mark and I will be streaming live on the TribLive Facebook page at 9:30 a.m. Monday.

LISTEN: Tim Benz and Mark Madden say no Steelers player played well in loss to the Patriots. And wonder how Antonio Brown will fit in with Pats
