Twitter runs wild after Patriots release Antonio Brown
The Patriots released Antonio Brown on Friday less than two weeks after he signed following his release from the Oakland Raiders.
Brown has been accused of rape in a lawsuit by a former trainer. He is also accused of exposing himself to a painter he had hired, according to the Associated Press. He has denied the allegations.
Brown scored a touchdown in his first and only game with the Patriots in a 43-0 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Twitter didn’t waste any time chiming in on the former Steelers wide receiver.
The Patriots just went from being Super Bowl favorites to being Super Bowl favorites.

If Antonio Brown does not wind up receiving his $9M signing bonus from the Patriots (the first $5M was due to be paid on Monday), he will go from a $30M guarantee in March to $9M guaranteed to just $158,333 made for 2019.

Antonio Brown cut from the Patriots for off field issues. There’s always the Raiders. They love guys like this.

The 30 for 30 about Antonio Brown at the Patriots would be over before you could say “What if I told you.”
