U mad, bro? Readers rip Neal Huntington, Rod Woodson, Antonio Brown and Quentin Tarantino

It’s time for this week’s edition of “U mad, bro?” Many of you certainly are. You are mad at Antonio Brown, Rod Woodson, Neal Huntington and everyone else in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.

Even Quentin Tarantino is catching heat this week.

Robert is beside himself, suffering through the poor play of the Pirates.

“WHY won’t the Pirates “Do Something” to give the fans and the city of Pittsburgh a ray of light???? The players have QUIT!!!!!! Truly SAD!!!!!”

By “something,” do you mean fire everybody? Because they could do that. I don’t think they will. But they could.

Or, by “something,” do you mean rattle off a winning streak and getting back on the rails again? Because that is “something” I don’t think they are capable of accomplishing.

Oh, and as far as them quitting? I honestly don’t think they have. I do think some previous editions of bad Pirates teams have bagged it late in certain seasons.

But, frankly, I think these guys are trying, and they still stink this badly. Especially the pitchers.

And that’s what is truly alarming.

“Ricky T” was unhappy with Rod Woodson ripping Ben Roethlisberger for not taking blame often enough when the Steelers lose.

As another commenter in thread also mentioned, Roethlisberger has often gone far out of his way to take blame. To the point that one could question his sincerity. I remember being in the locker room after games the Steelers would lose 30-something to 30-something. Roethlisberger would have 350 yards and four touchdowns, and he’d blame himself even though the defense gagged on a fourth-quarter lead.

Whether Big Ben 100% meant what he was saying, the results of the past few months prove why a quarterback has to do that. If you don’t, you get raked over the coals for “being a bad leader.”

Even by one of your own franchise’s Hall of Famers.

As I wrote Tuesday, Pirates GM Neal Huntington is trying to convince himself that 2020 can be a playoff rebound season after a bad year. Just like 2013 was. John isn’t buying that.

Now let’s get to some important stuff. Like me, Johnny was a little mad at the new Quentin Tarantino movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

To be honest, the word “essential” shouldn’t be used in the context of that plot at all. There wasn’t an essential moment until the last 20 minutes. It was two hours of character development and visual weaving of events.

A lot of it was good. But there wasn’t much story, despite a lot of story-telling.

I’ll say this, though, a movie that long made for a lot more Margot Robbie screen time. And that is never a bad thing!
