Thanksgiving is coming on Thursday. So you thought I’d leave you hanging for “U mad, bro?” this week, right?
Pfft! C’mon! I wouldn’t do that to you. I’ve got you covered with a rare Wednesday edition.
But I really don’t know what you have to be mad about.
Thanksgiving feasts are coming. National baseball writers are telling us the Pirates are going to sign every free agent from Japan to Philadelphia. The Penguins may be slumping, but they are surprisingly competitive. Even Pat Narduzzi’s dumb fake punt couldn’t derail Pitt in Atlanta last week.
And the Steelers are still in a tie for first place in the AFC Nor…
I'm so mad, bro!— Andrew Anastasia (@andrewaxp86) November 24, 2025
Yeah. Who am I kidding? I was never going to sneak that one past you guys.
Pass me a drumstick and let’s get to a holiday edition of “U mad, bro?” after a 31-28 Steelers loss in Chicago.
Chad is pretty much fed up with the Steelers.
It's time for the change. It just is.— Chad Syrylo ???????? (@SyryloChad) November 24, 2025
You’re right. It is. So, you know what they’ll change, don’t you?
A few assistant coaches.
Oh, and the quarterback. Because they do that every year now too. A successful strategy for any team.

This guy thought I was too hard on Kyle Dugger for dropping a sure interception against the Bears shortly before halftime.
You know he's not a wide receiver right?— F. S. Flip Fisher (@Flipsteeler) November 23, 2025
Yes. Yes, I do. You also know it was right in his hands, and the Bears eventually kicked a field goal, right?
And you know the Steelers lost by three points, right?
I don’t think that was being too harsh. If I had tweeted this…
….. that would’ve been too harsh.
Rich takes a shot at noted Mike Tomlin media apologists Mike Greenberg and Rich Eisen.
If steelers finish with a losing season, mike Greenberg and rich eisen's heads might explode!— RB7501 (@RB75012) November 25, 2025
Nah, they’ll just blame someone else and make Tomlin a victim of circumstance. They’ll blame Art Rooney II’s ownership, Omar Khan’s drafting, Aaron Rodgers’/Mason Rudolph’s quarterback play, the play-calling of Arthur Smith, the scheme of Teryl Austin, and so on, and so on…
Sean wants the local media to follow James Harrison’s criticism of Mike Tomlin.
James Harrison on the Steelers Defense:“We’re undisciplined or poorly coached or both. We have a horrible defensive scheme it's trash it's garbage. We cannot adjust at halftime it's non existent or we're just being out coached or both." #steelers

”All of these writers and radio hosts talk all kind of (junk) until they get in front of the guy and then it’s like they’re addressing some deity.”
Ha! OK, Sean. Harrison was literally on the sideline with the team just… what… a month ago?
All of those performative histrionics you are applauding from that video, he could’ve done in front of any number of pregame cameras and Tomlin for all the world to see. Instead, he just mugged, twirled the Terrible Towel, fired up the crowd, and probably bro-hugged it out with “Coach T.”
Then he went on a podcast and cut a wrestling promo a couple of weeks later.
So, I ask you, what’s the difference between what you are accusing us of and what Harrison has done?
Life isn’t a courtroom TV show. There are 22 of these press conferences a year. They aren’t all going to be the weekend dinner theatre you are craving.
Some of you fans seem to think every press conference is supposed to look like a scene in a Michael Bay movie when the press is yelling over each other at the President about when the meteor is going to hit the earth.
Unfortunately, the meteor hit the Steelers a long time ago, and folks like you still seem to think we in the media can somehow blow it up before it hits the atmosphere.

Yes. Those activities usually included catching touchdowns and spiking the football.
Finally, Tom wants to know if NFL replay assist can review a missed penalty — like the facemask on Kenneth Gainwell — and put a flag on the field that was overlooked.
”Can the NFL refs add a penalty when reviewing a play for a first down?”
No. Well, unless it favors the Chiefs.
