Unfiltered: Tim Benz and Mark Madden discuss Steelers being 6-0 after beating Titans
Tim Benz and Mark Madden return for this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLive’s Facebook page to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Heinz Field.
It was again a tale of two halves. The Steelers opened the game with a tremendous time-devouring drive for a touchdown, that set the tone for most of the half. But then the second half had the Titans crawling back into it and nearly tying the game as time wound down.
Madden thinks that had the Titans made the field goal and tied the game, they would of had all the momentum going into overtime.
But still a win is a win is a win and the team is 6-0. They face the Baltimore Ravens next week and both Madden and Benz think the Steelers can win this game.
Madden was ready to proclaim Super Bowl favorite sin the first half, but after the second half, there are still questions.
Benz thinks the the team mentally slowed down and started to play sloppily. Madden agrees and thinks they were taking things for granted and were not perfect in the first half.
The guys also talk about Le’Veon Bell joining the Kansas City Chiefs, Antonio Browns joining to Tampa Bay Buccaneers and more NFL news.
