Mark Madden and Tim Benz open up this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLIVE’s Facebook page discussing the scuttlebutt on social media following Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Devin Bush retweeting a video of a cat falling from a hotel balcony.

Bush also made news on social media this week when he slammed people who use TikTok, but then quickly stepped back from some of his comments.

Madden thinks this is all the same for the Steelers.

“Because in the Steelers locker room, if it has leaders, nobody follows the leaders. They just want to be liked by the cool kids,” says Madden.

“It’s an absolute circus act, it’s a clown show, and I can’t wait until they suck.”

The guys also talk about the Pirates rough weekend, dropping three of four to the Milwaukee Brewers after getting swept by the Colorado Rockies.

Madden has some advice for manager Derek Shelton: he has to play his best players all the time. And Madden asks why was Ke’Bryan Hayes not playing Sunday? Madden questions how good Hayes will be for the team. The guys talk about which players the Pirates might trade.
