Unfiltered: Tim Benz and Mark Madden discuss Steelers win, next game against Titans

Tim Benz and Mark Madden return for this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLive’s Facebook page to talk about the Steelers win over the Texans, giving the Steelers their first 3-0 start since 2010.

The Steelers defense wasn’t great in the first half, but came back in the second half and shutdown Deshaun Watson and the Texans.

Madden thinks the the next game against the Tennessee Titans will be a real test for the Steelers. Madden says the winner will have the de facto title of the 3rd best team in the AFC (behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens).

The guys preview the Steelers game against the Titans next Sunday. Madden says Ryan Tannehill is a better quarterback than Watson and that the Titans run the ball above all else.

The guys also talk about the top teams in the division and preview the “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Chiefs and Ravens.

Madden and Benz delve into the Penguins trade of Patric Hornqvist. The guys talk about what the Penguins need to do to help the team and to build around Sydney Crosby. But Madden says that there is no trade that can fix the team.

They also share some thoughts on the Pirates season that was and what the future looks like.

And they respond to reader comments.
