Unfiltered: Tim Benz and Mark Madden discuss Steelers win over Ravens

Columnists Tim Benz and Mark Madden discuss the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 20-19 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday on this edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLIVE’s Facebook page.

Benz says that facing the Ravens at this point in the season was probably a good thing for the Steelers. And Madden compares the Raves to last year’s Steelers team that started 11-0, but then quickly lost a lot of games.

Madden says the Ravens are starting to lose close games and quarterback Lamar Jackson does not look good.

Benz and Madden look at how the early interception by Minkah Fitzpatrick set the mood of the game.

The Steelers now have a short week as they head to Minnesota for a Thursday night game versus the Vikings. Madden thinks its a crap-shoot on who wins the game, but says it’s a very winnable game for the Steelers.

Benz and Madden also look at the Steelers (6-5-1) upcoming schedule, how it could play out and the team’s playoff outlook.

Madden and Benz also talk about Pitt’s ACC championship win and debate Kenny Pickett’s fake slide and the College Football Playoff matchups.
