Unfiltered: Tim Benz and Mark Madden discuss Steelers’ win, Smith-Schuster's injury, and preview the Penguins

“All is right with the world. Hockey is about to start. Penguins season about to get underway. The Steelers are victorious over the Denver Broncos. And Mark is wearing his JuJu Smith-Schuster jersey.”

So begins another edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLIVE’s Facebook page.

Columnists Tim Benz and mark Madden dive in on the Steelers’ win over the Broncos on Sunday, the injury to wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, the performance of the Steelers defense, and Penguins hockey kicking off Tuesday.

About Smith-Schuster, the Steelers still have three other receivers and Madden says, “I’m sorry he got hurt. But it’s money that should have been spent elsewhere.”

Like on the offensive line, which could have used the help. But it is getting praise for the job they did against Denver.

“It’s getting better for sure,” says Madden.

The Broncos offensive line also played pretty well and kept the Steelers pass rushers in check. Madden says that T.J. Watt still has to play better.

“As I’ve said repeatedly: When you make quarterback money, you gotta do quarterback things. As in, you got to impact the game week in and week out,” says Madden.

The guys also preview the Steelers next matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, look closer at the the offense playmakers, and discuss other NFL games from this weekend.
