Sophomore guard Cam Seigfreid was rewarded Monday for one of his most productive stretches of the season for the Pitt-Greensburg men’s basketball team.

A Penn-Trafford graduate, Seigfreid was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week after leading the Bobcats (7-14, 4-10) to a 2-1 week.

The 6-foot-2 Seigfreid scored 23 points and went 9 for 9 at the foul line as UPG beat Penn State Altoona, 93-80. He followed that performance with a 20-point, 10-rebound effort in a 94-73 loss to Medaille.

His 15.5 points-per-game average leads UPG and ranks fifth in the conference. He also averages 5.5 rebounds and is second on the team with 36 3-pointers.
